My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was a little girl...

I quickly learned to knit and to embroider, and I have been hand-making clothing, accessories and gifts ever since.

I began to teach friends and family who wanted to learn, coaxing them through the fiddly bits in the beginning of learning any new craft, and watching their eyes light up when they “got” it. I got hooked on witnessing that magical moment and started teaching professionally in the US, and now here in London and the UK.

Teaching these skills gives me enormous pleasure; sharing something that my students will keep for the rest of their lives.

My education in art at the University of Pennsylvania informs my original designs, and living in London, one of the most culturally rich cities on earth, keeps my creativity flowing.

It is quite magical to create beautiful clothes with yarn and sticks or a hook! I have now spent more than a decade sharing these skills and learning new ones.
